DoExtra Process: A Proven Approach


Although every implementation has its unique requirements, we follow a regimented, proven process designed to ensure success for your company.

Step 1: Requirements/Design
Detailed functional and system design. Typically includes a 1-2 day meeting with your CRM committee. The database structure is designed. Output of this step is a detailed Statement of Work which provides screen shots, cost and time estimates.

Step 2: Customization
Screen customization of out-of-box system. Based on the Statement of Work, we’ll reconfigure the system with custom fields and tabs to store account, contact, prospect information. We’ll also develop workflow for marketing and customer support.

Step 3: Imports/Integration, Financial and Operational Systems
Import data from your current financial and operational systems. CRM Accounts and Contacts are imported. Customer profiles, such as revenue/product purchase info imported.  Duplicates scrubbed to ensure new data is clean.

Step 4: Imports/Integration, Prospecting Systems
Import contact and historical data from various prospecting and sales systems. Duplicates scrubbed to ensure new data is clean.

Step 5: Installation/Setup/Launch
Install the system and configure it in test and production environment, setup and configure users and security. Outlook integration.

Step 6: Reporting Dashboards
Design and configure reporting systems and dashboard. Typically a Pipeline/Forecast and Activity Report.

Step 7: Training
Draft custom training manual. Conduct end user training sessions, administrator training. Make a specific effort to “train the trainer.”

Step 8: Project Management
Ongoing project management, including team and management reviews.

Step 9: Workflow Consulting/Implementation
Ongoing consulting on campaigns, business development processes and data mining.
