Training Sessions | Sessions for Success


Onsite Training
This type of training typically takes place at our customer’s location. DoExtra trains on the customized system and follows pre-determine business rules. We strongly encourage having a business representative attend the training to help explain new business rules and processes. These training sessions are customized for the customer we are working with. The training topics listed below may not be covered in your training session. Please contact Julie Brandt at jbrandt@doextra.com if you would like to put together a list of training topics for your company.

End User Training – Training will be held for the end users of the system. Training will be will cover only the system features the client will use. Training will include customizations to the system.

Train the Trainer – Training will be provided to the person (people) in charge of training the end users. Training will cover system functionality. Training will also include reviewing frequently asked questions and why users are not willing to learn a new system and how to overcome those challenges.

Administrator Training – Training will be provided to the system administrator and will cover topics such as user management, security, Outlook integration, etc.


Webinars
Webinars are a great way to provide ongoing training to end users, especially if they’re are located in different offices. Sessions may re-cover a previous training topic or expand on a training topic. We recommend covering one or two topics in under 30 minutes.

Though it’s possible to introduce a new training topic during a webinar, we generally do not recommend it. Webinars do not allow end users to practice what they are being taught in the session. Training online usually prevents the trainer from seeing the trainee’s computer screen, which can make it more difficult to provide feedback on what is being done incorrectly.

Classroom Sessions
This type of training is offered to all of our customers. Training follows an out of the box application. Classes will be held at a location to cover a specific topic. A training manual, guide or tips and tricks document will be provided to the attendees. Training can be held in Des Moines, Omaha/Lincoln or Eastern Iowa.

Sales Modeling
